Double Fine's Amnesia Fortnight

Double Fine, the San Francisco game developer behind Psychonauts and Brutal Legend and many more well-known titles have began their Amnesia Fortnight to come up with new idea for video game prototypes.

The Amnesia Fortnight is 2 weeks in which all of Doublefine's game developer employees put aside their current projects and try out new ideas by making a prototype game of an idea in the 2 week time frame. After the fortnight is over, some of the most well received games are out into real production and released to the public upon completion. This can lead to some really interesting prototypes that you could be playing in the future!

Another exciting part about Amnesia Fortnight is that YOU can influence it. Yes, you can vote what game idea you think are the coolest on the Humble Bundle Website where the Amnesia Fortnight is streamed 24/7, Not only that, but you may even be able to download the older and newer experimental prototypes to try out yourself.

Glasgow & Clydebank During WWII

Scotland was hit along with the rest of the bigger cities in the UK by the Nazi German Luftwaffe during WWII. Clydebank, near Glasgow in particular was unfortunately hit pretty badly, where shipbuilding was largely taking place. The town was was devastated, leaving under ten houses still undamaged, the rest was reduced to rubble. There were around 500 casualties and even more so were injured in the blitz. Thankfully the Clydebank area was restored and still stands today as a nice town situated next to Glasgow.
